Proposal of measures in the low voltage network for the implementation of renewable sources and electromobility according to scenarios NAP SG
Vojtěch, Jan ; Kučera, Michal (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The thesis analyzes legislative and strategic documents of the European Union and the Czech Republic which set targets in environment and energy area in 2030, alternatively in 2040. The individual chapter is dedicated to national action plans, where the most important is National Action Plan for Smart Grids setting specific requirements for future development of smart grids. The thesis contains analysis of distribution network in the municipality of Následovice and simplifying assumptions for the implementation of calculation. There are also introduced scenarios which have been used for the calculation of the distribution network with its results. Potential defects of the distribution network are commented with suggested solutions. The calculations were repeated to verify the solutions. Results are recapitulated in an individual chapter. Graphical outputs of the calculations can be found in the attachement.
The electric car as part of a smart home
Peichl, Ondřej ; Ušiak, Michal (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This thesis provides an overview of technologies that can be a part of an electric car. These technologies include Vehicle to Grid, Vehicle to Building, Vehicle to Home, etc. The principle, properties, possibilities of development and integration in the Czech Republic and in the world will be described for these technologies. The second part of the thesis will deal with the connection of an electric car to a smart home and its cooperation with other components of the smart home, such as home photovoltaic power plant, control system or wallbox. At the end of the thesis is designed a specific smart house, which was calculated the consumption of electricity for the household, for the electric car and also how much of this consumption can cover the home photovoltaic power plant.
Electromobility, today and vision
Valíček, Roman ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Milčák, Pavel (advisor)
The main target of this bachelor thesis is to create an overview of current and future status of electromobility in the Czech Republic, including an analysis of possible impacts of this developing field to other sectors, especially energy industry and ecology. This work is divided into several sections. The first part is research and it deals with general knowledge related to electromobility at first and then it analyzes the current situation in our country. The electric vehicle charging and electromobility support are discussed in detail. The second part of the thesis focuses on the influence of electromobility growth on the power system and on the electromobile emission footprint. These chapters are based on self calculations and the results are evaluated at the end. The conclusion summarizes the findings and there is a comment about upcoming development of electromobility in the future.
Recuperation systems in automotive technology
Běhoun, Lukáš ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the methods of energy recuperation in the automotive technology. The first section explores the historical development of the recuperation systems spanning from the end of the 19th century to the present day. The second section is following with the division of the recuperation systems in accordance with the method of their energy storage and their transmission. This is consecutively supported by three examples of use for each of the systems. The third section offers a comparison of the individual cumulative units. Furthermore, it offers a comparison of all the types of systems used in bus transportation. The fourth section analyses the fuel consumption by a bus without a recuperation system and by an identical bus with the Bosch Rexroth recuperation system. This is supported by calculations. Subsequently, the above systems are scrutinized from an economical point of view. The last part deals with the possible development of recuperation systems in the future.
Analysis of the current development of electromobility, comparison of different types of drives
Vobecký, Jan ; Sedlák, Petr (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the current development of electromobility and the description of different types of drives. The first part deals with the basic theory of electric vehicles on batteries, hybrid vehicles and fuel cell vehicles. The second part provides analysis and data on the offered electric cars. At the end of the work is an evaluation of the situation.
Distribution system support by power management of battery systems in charging mode and charging systems for electric vehicles
Rodionov, Vladislav ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the power management support of battery systems in charging mode and charging systems for electric vehicles in the LV network. The thesis includes an overview of the distribution network of the Czech Republic, means of voltage regulation and the existing legislative framework for the connection of charging systems. The thesis describes the methods of active and reactive power control depending on the voltage and frequency. The practical part focuses on the simulation of grid support at different penetration levels of BESS and EVC in MATLAB Simulink and the verification of the support function on a laboratory system. In the last part, the methods of implementing the control system for BESS and EVC operating in the LV grid are specified.
Design of Electric Ride-on Lawn Mower
Krulová, Karolína ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
The topic of this master thesis is the design of electric ride-on lawn mower. The main goal was to design an innovative garden machinery that will take the requirements of the private user into consideration of this type of equipment. The current market was thoroughly analysis and a questionnaire survey was compiled. The conclusions were to reduce the overall dimensions of the rider, simplify and lighten the design of the cutting system, design a seat that would be more breathable and comfortable in the summer months and replace the internal combustion engine with an electric one. The final product will be used by private owners of medium-sized and rugged gardens with an area of up to 1500 m2.
Energy efficiency of hydrogen utilization in transport
Mikulenka, Karel ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Vopařil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis analyses current possibilities of hydrogen usage in transport. Hydrogen is by scientific community viewed as a possible answer to ever growing emissions from transport and their negative affect on the environment. The work introduces the most significant advantages of hydrogen usage as a fuel in comparison to its counterpart combustion engine and battery vehicles. Two means of obtaining energy from hydrogen in a vehicle itself shall be described which are hydrogen combustion and fuel cells. Further shall be made analysis of current possibilities for potential end customer pertaining vehicle and fuel availability. In the end is given a general description of hydrogen transport implementation in Czech Republic and its energetic cost and efficiency within an overall hydrogen economy.
